    1. Hound

Ask and thou shall receive. The Hound app gives you what you ask for – literally. It is a smart (speak-to-it) personal assistant available for both Android and iPhone devices that work especially well with speech-recognition. Hound doesn’t just understand words; it understands natural languages which helps get things done much faster (without typing). Ask to find out the weather, get directions to a destination, check stock prices, play music, and more of your favourite stuff.

If you’re thinking Hound sounds like Siri, they do share some features, but Hound can do a bit more. Naturally speak to Hound and ask for things like: “Find me a 5-start hotel in Paris that has a spa, free Wi-Fi and costs less than $300.” The Hound app also integrates with popular services like Expedia, Uber, and Yelp.

    2. 24me

Like any good personal (digital) assistant, Google Now can let you if you should be expecting a traffic jam on your way to work and can even record where you parked your car. It learns your habits and provides real-time updates on things that matter most to you. And of course, it wouldn’t be complete without being able to sync up with your other applications to make it an all-inclusive and easy personal assistant app.

    4. EasilyDo

EasilyDo is a smart personal assistant app that almost acts like a human PA because it’s action-oriented. It automates a variety of your daily activities like filtering out your email inbox, getting directions, reminding you of important meetings and managing your social media accounts.

There are over 30 actions that EasilyDo is able to accomplish, and most of them can be done without needing your supervision. It’s almost human in the way it takes actions for you. The smart app has some extra add-on features, but it requires a subscription of $4.99/mo. However, the free version does have some jazzy perks to help make you more productive and keep your life organised.

    5. Speaktoit Assistant

Just like the brand says – “speak to it”. This innovative personal assistant app is another popular tool for smartphones and tablets. What makes it unique is the fact that it’s available in various languages and works with a variety of services like TripAdvisor, Evernote, Google Calendar and much more. It encompasses the unique ability to learn your habits and serves you what you need. Even “hire” your personal assistant to be a male or female figure.
